Individual Therapy
Amanda is passionate about supporting individuals as they navigate anxiety, life transitions, and relational challenges. She especially enjoys working with young adults (15+), women, and those who feel overwhelmed by worry or stuck in patterns that impact their relationships and sense of self.
Her approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity. Amanda has advanced training in Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) and has completed Level 1 training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), with plans to pursue full certification. She also incorporates elements of narrative therapy and solution-focused therapy, helping clients reconnect with their inner strengths and move toward meaningful, lasting change.
Family Therapy
Amanda loves working with families and is honored to support them in strengthening their connections and navigating challenges together. She works with families who have children aged 15 and older, creating a safe space where each member feels seen, heard, and valued.
Her work with families is grounded in Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), a powerful, research-based model that helps families heal emotional injuries, deepen bonds, and create new patterns of connection. Amanda has completed all levels of EFFT training as is an EFFT supervisor. She brings both skill and heart to this work.
She is inspired by the belief that healing happens in connection.
“When trees grow together, nutrients and water can optimally be divided among them all so that each tree can grow into the best tree it can be… This is because a tree can be only as strong as the forest that surrounds it.”
